Segons Wikipedia: Relativism is the idea that some element or aspect of experience or culture is relative to, i.e., dependent on, some other element or aspect. Some relativists claim that humans can understand and evaluate beliefs and behaviors only in terms of their historical or cultural context. The term often refers to truth relativism, which is the doctrine that there are no absolute truths, i.e., that truth is always relative to some particular frame of reference, such as a language or a culture.
Aquest és un punt del meu punt de vista personal: no hi ha absolutament res (ningú ni cap cosa) que pugui entendre's com a ser/ quelcom aïllat. Tota cosa té un entorn, unes circumstàncies i probablement uns condicionants, en definitiva un background, que fa que no existeixi la veritat o la mentida absoulta, la raó totpoderosa... ja que tot pot ser qüestionat (i ha de ser qüestionat) des d'una altra perspectiva. Sempre tots i tothom estem rodejats per uns factors condicionants i variables, ja sigui l'entorn social, cultural, l'època o el lloc en què vivim. I si tots i tothom vivim en algun lloc i en algun moment això significa que totes les coses i tots els éssers ocupem un lloc físic en l'espai i en el temps, i és precisament aquest lloc que fa que totes les raons, totes les evidències, accions i actuacions siguin relatives. Tot l'entorn té una connexió, és un lligam finit (a vegades el cercle es tanca) o infinit (una punta no arriba mai a l'altre extrem).
Afortunament, tot, TOT és relatiu.
